damn that ex-government

well, gran is visiting us today. once again I noticed that she's alone and her better half is missing. won't ever get used to this. anyway. she's been telling me about grandpa's parents and his grandparents. apparently his grandparents had 15 children. the poor woman never had to go thru the freaking monthly, and once the 15 kids were there, she was done with having monthly. heh. gran told me when grandpa's mom died he wanted to go to her funeral, but he wasn't allowed to. our lovely (ex!!) east-germany government denied him to go to west-germany for the funeral. he should inform them 4 weeks earlier. hah!!! idiots. it's so long ago and I just got to know it and I am seething. The same happened to him when his dad died in '72. Talk about real bastards. Which they were.

I'm glad that government is gone since 15 years, it still makes me sad what they did to us people.
